Pastor: Amanda Lane
Pastor Amanda has been serving churches in Georgia since 2009. She felt a calling to ministry at an early age. Her home church nurtured her call by allowing her opportunities to grow in her faith and leadership. She attended Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina where she majored in Christian Education and minored in Spanish. After graduating college Amanda enrolled in seminary at Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
While in seminary Amanda served at Grayson UMC with Children and youth, and at Greensboro First UMC with the youth as Associate Pastor. Amanda has also served at Simpsonwood UMC in Peachtree Corners, GA, and is now serving part-time at New Liberty UMC.
Amanda has a passion for preaching and teaching. She gets excited when she is able to help people of all ages grow in their faith and find hands-on ways to live out their faith.
Amanda is married to Victor Lane, an English teacher and soccer coach. Amanda and Victor have two young children David and William.
