About Us

New Liberty United Methodist Church is a church located in Braselton, Georgia. We are committed to being a church committed to mission, both local and abroad as well as being a family-first church. Our mission is to build Christ-like relationships throughout our community and the world. We believe this is best accomplished when we choose to love and serve all, no exceptions.

New Liberty has been a faithful, worshiping community for over 150 years. During that time New Liberty has baptized children and adults, taught the Christian faith, and built a community of faith within the community of Braselton.

New Liberty is open to all of God’s children. As our community has developed, grown, changed, and experienced cycles of renewal, New Liberty’s congregation has evolved. Some are new to the neighborhood and many are 4th generation in the area.  Some of our members are close to 100 years old and New Liberty is committed to creating space for the next generation of Christians and our children. Some New Liberty members are single, many are couples, and many are large families. New Liberty shares a love of Jesus Christ and a desire to build life-changing communities through Jesus Christ.

You are invited to be a part of this life-changing community.

On Sunday morning, you have an opportunity to be in fellowship with other Christians by attending and participating in our Sunday Morning Sunday School at 9:45 AM. At 11 AM, you are invited to join New Liberty for worship. Our service is a traditional service with hymns. If you are unable to attend worship, you can also watch online at www.facebook.com/NewLibertyUMC. Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome to come and receive. Children’s church is offered mid-way through the service, right after the Children’s Message in our building next door. You are also welcome to bring your children to the Children’s church at the beginning of the service if you would like.
